North West Saturday Morning League Weekend Roundup 24-10-2015
Only two games played in the Premier Division at the weekend, Westbank v Du Pont and Cregan Swifts v Bandywell Celtic. The other games Rosemount v Hatmore Harps was postponed with no Referee and the Bently v Tamnaherin game being abandoned.
Westbank stay at the top of the table and keep their unbeaten run on the league going with 6 wins and 1 draw. A hatrick from Kevin McQuaid and a goal each from Sean McCarron and Christy Downey gave them a comfortable win over Du Pont.
It wasn't so easy for Creggan Swifts but they kept themselves in second place by outscoring Brandywell Celtic. Eugene Deery, Mo McElhinney and a brace for Darren McCready was just enough to Swifts take all 3 points with Blaine McDaid, Paul Smith and Arnie Doherty getting on the score sheet for Brandywell and making this a game for the supporters.
There are two Championships sides that are still unbeaten this season and league leaders Foyle are one of them. This weekend due to unfortunate circumstances for their opponents Tristar, they were unable to field a team so points awarded to Foyle.

Strabane were in 7 heaven with goals from Joe Cromie, Jason McGrinder (2), Aidan Doherty, Gary McGuigan, Sean Lynch and David Taylor as they won 7-0 against Newtown Heath.
